Article 5 : Before delivery, que faut-il prévoir
- 1. Electrical specifications

2. Water Specifications

3. Work area foot print
Elements size:
- Silo + pump: 1.2m x 2m x 3m
- 1 Big Bag: 1.2m x 1.2m
- The MaxiPrinter:

MaxiPrinter and Print Area
The print area should be 8m high and at least 14*14m wide without any obstacles, just for the MaxiPrinter and the actual print. Place the Maxi Printer in the center of the print area.

You will need a forklift truck to fi ll the silo. The silo and the pump have a total size of : 1.2m*2m*3m. Keep in mind that the material storage and waste printed piece will take a large place, for example a pallet size is about: 1.2*1.2m. So the total work area will take about 16*16*7m. Do not forget to secure the work area, the secure area should be at least about 2m around the work area.

4. Elements storage
Maxi-Printer :
The MaxiPrinter must be stored indoors in a dry and cool place. It is highly recommended to cover the machine to protect any dust from settling down on the MaxiPrinter. Please store the machine as clean as possible, especially the tracks after operating the machine in the dirt.
Maxi-Printer elements :
The HMI, the green wireless stop buttons and all the wiring must be stored clean and dry in the dedicated aluminium box.
Dry material :
All the big bags of material are double wrapped in a plastic sheet and delivered on a pallet. Do not open the packages if you will not use the material within 24h. Do not remove the big bag from the palette if you will not use the material within 24h. If the big bag is stored on the ground, water could come from the ground and damage the material.
Pumping system :
All the elements of the pumping system must be stored clean and dry. The cleaning operation must be performed right after the end of the print. A wet storage of the pumping system elements can result in rusty elements and affect the results of printing.
Hoses :
The cleaning operation must be performed right after the end of the print. All the hoses must be stored as clean and as dry as possible. Before a print If you think the pipe can be dirty please send a cleaning ball pushed by clear water in the pipe before sending materials.
5. Cleaning area and process
During the printing and cleaning process you will generate wastes. The easier way to deal with the concrete garbage is by fi ltering the water and only dealing with solid waste at the end.

Please do not add any type of other waste in the big bag. If the big bag is 100% 3d printed waste, your local waste company might recycle this material.
6. Personal Protective Equipment
To print, you have to wear personal Protective Equipment such as:
- Glasses
- Gloves
- Construction Worker’s Helmet
- Safety boots
- Construction Worker’s clothes

7. Tools and additional Equipments
In order to print, the silo has to often be refi lled, to do this a forklift truck is needed to lift the Big Bag over the silo. It is also a good idea to have a pallet truck to move objects on the fl oor such as a retention tank (SECATOL).
If you want to make some test and destroy your print at the end, we recommend putting a tarpaulin before the print, it will be easier to clean the area.
It is very important for your safety and the visitors or employees safety to put some safety equipment like fl oor cable protector on the HMI and Power cable and cones with warning tape.
